Ben Stokes has most recently been quoted in an article called Ben Stokes thanks Ottis Gibson for helping him through his bowling issues this summer. Ben Stokes said, “I looked at footage after the Champions Trophy. My jump into the crease was a lot bigger than what it used to be. My front foot was very tight to off stump so it has been about working on alignment drills, seam position and also finishing my action off and not getting up too early. We have been working on that for five or six weeks and gradually it has got better and better.”. Ben Stokes has been quoted a grand total of 24 times in 11 articles.

Amla and De Kock are probably the two wickets we look at as being the main ones for us to try and get on a roll, so its nice to see the back of them already. But we've got two fighters still at the wicket at the moment, in Elgar and Bavuma, so hopefully conditions are similar tomorrow and we can get them out early on.feedback

Jimmy said what are you going to do and I said wallop it. We were nine down with the seamer bowling from other end, the wind was blowing in my favour and that was my opportunity to get as many runs as we could. Thanks to Faf he took a good catch on the boundary but his momentum just took him over. I was just in the frame of mind to hit it.feedback

I think it is one that I have worked the hardest for. I came off the field after the first day and did not feel in the best of form. I had played and missed at a few balls and Vernon had a few over me. I had to stick in with Cooky. We both knew that it was going to be tougher for the guys coming in after us so we had to work through the hard times to put away any bad balls.feedback

We are similar. There is no beef it's just that there are two personalities like ours and sometimes it will start something. But it is good to be in a battle and I think spectators want to see that. I would be very surprised if he calms anything down - that is what makes him the bowler he is. It is part of his repertoire, being quick and aggressive.feedback

Aggression doesn't always mean scoring at a strike rate of 80 or anything like that. It is about how you do things. Being aggressive can even be leaving a ball, a decisive defensive shot and being committed to all the movements in the shot your decide to play. It's backing yourself whether you are going to be aggressive or rein yourself in, not taking a negative approach but a more sensible one.feedback

Jul 25 2017 - World Cup

It's an amazing achievement for them to win a World Cup in England. It proves just how far the game has come for them. The amount of people that watched, the amount of coverage it gets.feedback

It's 1-1, both games have been pretty one-sided and the team who won swapped around. We've got two games left so we just need to make sure that we come out here and put in a better performance than we did at Trent Bridge and really take a front foot in the series.feedback

It is just in my delivery stride bowling. Batting and running around the field and everything like that is fine.feedback

May 28 2017

I have had it on and off for about two or three years now. It's all about managing it. It is an injury that comes and goes. On some days I don't know whether it is going to be good or not. We only really find out how it is when I start bowling.feedback

Batting and running around the field and everything like that is fine. We are managing it as well as we can with the physios, doctors and myself. It is an injury I have had before and something that sometimes will just go away. I have good days and bad days so I could wake up tomorrow and it could be completely gone but I will just have to monitor it over the next few days.feedback

May 18 2017

I remember watching the 2015 World Cup thinking they were really low and hit rock bottom. They have done really well to come back from that. They are obviously a very talented group of players. The way they came back from that earned a lot of respect around the world. They must be one of the favourites playing in their own country having played some good cricket of late.feedback

May 01 2017

It was one of the good days. I actually think it did me some good having a rest. I felt my training was slipping away a bit in that I was doing some training that I was not benefiting from. It was quite good to get in the nets and just hit the ball properly and maybe I took that into today's innings and natural instincts take over when you are out there as well.feedback
