Last quote by Christian Pulisic

Look at the two goals we conceded: How bizarre. Does it get any more bizarre than that? So you are down two goals, you get a goal early in the second half and there's plenty of time to get a second goal. We had our chances. But what can you say? Even despite conceding those two bizarre goals, we still positioned ourselves to get out of there with a point. I can't look anywhere else except inside our team.feedback

Oct 06 2017

We understand what's at stake. But we've been in similar positions before and we're going to give it everything to try to win.feedback

Oct 06 2017

Those guys are great players so it's not difficult to play with great players. I'm happy I was able to contribute a little bit, and contribute a goal. It was a really good team performance.feedback

Oct 06 2017

We needed a lot of movement against a physical Panama team that was going to sit in and not make it easy for us. Our movement was good today. I was able to play off those guys, they had some great layoffs to me. I think the spacing was pretty good for most of the night – there were still some things we could do better – I think the game plan was pretty much executed.feedback

Sep 25 2017

We have a lot of good players so we know that anyone we put on the field is going to do a good job and that's what's happening at the moment. We feel really good right now. We're confident and we'll take it from there.feedback

Sep 13 2017

The second one I didn't think was offside. Obviously refs make mistakes and the game just changed after that.feedback

Sep 13 2017

I have to see them again but my goal in the first half, I guess Auba was off but he didn't touch it. I don't know if he was offside.feedback

Sep 13 2017

Thing didn't go our way and that's how the sport is sometimes. We had to take some other chances but things didn't go our way with decisions and other things.feedback

Sep 13 2017

I just try to do the best I can for myself and the people around me. I think I have a lot of things to improve on, from just growing physically and being stronger to continue to improve on doing what I do best, going at defenders, finding new ways to attack defenses and help my team on the offensive side.feedback

Sep 13 2017 - Borussia Dortmund bus attack

I would probably give my goal a B grade. Marc [Bartra]'s goal was a little bit better, an A for his effort. Of course, and it's just the beginning of the season, so we want to continue to get better and better. I think it was a really good showing today, and yeah, I think we're understanding [Bosz] very well.feedback

Sep 01 2017

I really enjoy playing there. I love obviously more on the attacking side of the game, and I think it really gives me a good chance to kind of link the defense and the attack. I think I'm good at that. I think I can change the game, and use my quickness and speed to kind of do that and I think it's a really good position for me.feedback

Aug 29 2017

I think it was a dream of his to play for Barcelona and I'm not going to be unhappy for him. I'm definitely happy and I'm excited to see what he can do in his future, but like I said, it's not always fun losing one of your best players.feedback

Aug 29 2017

Of course I hear about all this stuff people talk about. This kid, there's hype, whatever. I just try to keep it out of my mind as much as I can because that doesn't really matter to me. I put enough pressure on myself. I don't need all this outside tension or whatever. I just try to do the best I can for myself and the people around me.feedback

Aug 29 2017

For me everything happened a little bit too fast. The past year has been a roller coaster. Being able to play at club level at a high level, and then getting called into the national team, it's amazing. But I'm just trying to stay as level-grounded as I can, finding a balance.feedback

Aug 29 2017

I don't think there's too much different. Maybe we lost a player or two, but I kind of have the same role on the team. Whenever I'm on the field, similar like I do with the national team, [my focus] is being effective, being dangerous. Helping my team to create and score goals. I understand that, and I'm excited for this new season. Whether there's more responsibility put on me or not I'm going to go out and I'm going to try to do the same things and be effective.feedback

Aug 19 2017

I would probably give my goal a B grade. Marc's goal was a little bit better, an A for his effort. I think I just got the ball at my feet and I kind of just saw an opening, so I just went for it and aimed for the back post and luckily it went in.feedback

Aug 16 2017

My next goal is now to play regularly. I do not have a favourite position. I would like to think that I am very versatile in attack.feedback

Aug 16 2017

I am very happy in Dortmund. I have read about it [Liverpool interest], but what can I say about it? I am fully focused on the start of the new season.feedback

Jul 28 2017

We've got a big chance to win the league this coming season.feedback

Jun 19 2017

When I was little I wanted to play in the Premier League but now that I'm in the Bundesliga I'm not planning on a move because that's what I want to do. I'm really happy there and I'm just kind of going with the flow and I'm happy with it.feedback

Jun 09 2017

When he's on his game, and he's gliding past players like he does it helps us so much. He's a great player to have over there. It helps me and the team so much.feedback

Jun 09 2017 - Mexico

Mexico, they're a good team and not easy to beat at home. It's going to take a lot. But I think with the guys we have and the confidence we have, there's no reason why we can't do it.feedback

Jun 09 2017

They were tough in the first half, definitely. They had a lot of guys behind the ball and we couldn't work our way through them. Once we got the first one, it kind of opened up.feedback

Jun 08 2017

It just took us a little while to get going.feedback

Jun 08 2017 - Mexico

It's going to be a tough one down there.feedback

Jun 08 2017

Just being out there, it's like a dream of mine to wear the USA crest, just to be playing for the country. The fact that these goals are coming is a little bonus. I still can't believe I'm out there.feedback

May 26 2017

I'd never put that out of the question. Playing in your home country would be special; obviously I don't have any immediate plans to do that but it's always an option. It's been big flaw of ours in the soccer department that a lot of our best athletes go and play other sports. But I think young players have seen me, and others, go over to Europe and play in some of the best leagues – and MLS is improving so much too. There's so much potential and I think it's changing: we've had some bigger athletes in the past but I don't think that defines us anymore.feedback

May 26 2017

It's been tough with those English Weeks. I couldn't have imagined playing this much at the start of the season. I've been lucky, and I'm just thankful that I've been able to stay healthy and the coaches have felt they can trust me to play, whether it's been off the bench or starting.feedback

May 26 2017

It's all about moving on. Everybody handles it a little bit differently and it was a tough week, for sure. It was just scary stuff, and you're obviously not thinking about football that night or even the next day. You're just thankful you're alive and that's it. You don't want that to happen to anyone – you don't ever want anyone to experience something like that.feedback

May 26 2017

I feel like we all have such a good chemistry and just want the best for each other. We compete against each other every day but we just have fun with it. We were all new to each other this season but we'll become even stronger.feedback

May 26 2017

I called my mom as soon as I could. I didn't want her to hear about it and not know if I was OK. She spread the word to my dad, and it was very good to be able to go straight home from what happened and be with my mom. It's tough being here alone but I was lucky she was here at that time.feedback

May 26 2017

It's something I definitely picked up when I was younger and that my dad helped me with a lot too – engaging in defence, being ready and playing hard. Obviously I have some talents on the offensive side and can help the team in that way, but there are two sides to the ball. In a tough league like this and with a good, demanding coach, I really have to work hard at it.feedback

Mar 29 2017

I just saw something in him that was completely different.feedback

Mar 29 2017

Mar 29 2017

Sometimes it's not always about soccer in these games. You've got to really stay focused and physical out there.feedback

Mar 26 2017

Clint's an easy guy to play with. It's really fun playing in behind him and off of him. It was cool combining with him and Jozy. It's a good team. (Dempsey)'s strong, he's technical, he makes good runs and he always gives good support. That's exactly what we need from a forward, and he's clinical.feedback

Mar 24 2017

Just being relentless, and attacking, and going and never stopping until the 90th minute. Sometimes it's not easy to break teams down because they do defend well. It's not going to be easy tomorrow. We don't know how they're going to play yet, but we'll find out.feedback

Mar 24 2017

Every day when I go out to training I'm trying to get better and better and over four months time, however long it's been, being with Dortmund and playing more big games there it's just gaining experience and I feel even stronger than I was then.feedback

Mar 24 2017

Of course, we realize that we need three points (on Friday). We obviously didn't have a great start so we need to bounce back here and we're going to need a big performance. We played against two good teams, but just didn't come out with the results we wanted to. It just didn't flow, it didn't feel right in the moment. Looking back on it there, yeah, there's a lot of things we could have improved on, and we're going to try and bring that tomorrow.feedback

Mar 24 2017

I'm not going to put pressure on myself like that. I'm just going to go out like any other game, be confident, and play like I play. We'll see where it goes.feedback

Mar 24 2017

I just like to be on the field really, anywhere on the field, but I feel comfortable in that (central midfield) position. I've played there a lot, so I'm ready.feedback

Mar 24 2017

He was an idol of mind, so it's obviously an honor, but I'm my own player as well so I'm just trying to do it for me, and that's it.feedback

Mar 23 2017

It's a different situation. It's definitely a big game here. I always take those experiences and I bring them and take them with me for the rest of my life. It will definitely help in these big games. So I feel much more comfortable and confident going into this one.feedback

Mar 23 2017

He's making progress as a player and a person. The last couple of months with his club team in Germany have been good. He has very little experience at the international level. He's going to need to get a taste of it and continue to grow as a player. He has all the tools to become a very good player. I look forward to seeing how he reacts in these next two games.feedback

Mar 09 2017

It was my first-ever Champions League goal and probably the most important one I've scored to date. It was an incredible, amazing feeling.feedback

Mar 08 2017 - UEFA

It was an incredible, amazing feeling.feedback

Mar 02 2017

Scoring my first goal was incredible – you never forget your first goal. I celebrated by doing a dab because I didn't know what to do! My family were proud of me. It must have meant a lot to them, too.feedback

Mar 02 2017

If you'd asked me three years ago when I started with the youth team, I did not think I'd be in this position today.feedback

Mar 02 2017

I have respect for Klopp and I know him – he was very welcoming to me here – but I was never really thinking about going to Liverpool. Borussia Dortmund have given me everything. If I work very hard here, I will play, and I love this club. I'm happy in the city, I'm just really content with everything here at the moment.feedback
